Les Jardins de la grange try to raise awareness on how fragile nature is and tries to preserve the local flora and fauna. To do this, the association has opened 6 themed gardens to the public:

In Vedrin, near Namur, the Jardin des Plantes à couleurs (the garden of colourful plants) features 130 species selected for their dyeing qualities.

This 67-hectare park, in Monceau-sur-Sambre (Hainaut), is well worth the detour. 28 didactic panels, along the path, give information about the various trees planted there.

This itinerary first goes through the city then goes up toward the wildlife park and the arboretum. You will have the possibility to hop off at both parks and catch up a later train back to town. Groups: possibility to book and choose a different itinerary.
