This international cycling race takes on the most selective, spectacular and coveted road in Belgium. With 175 kilometers and 17 hills, this challenge offers a positive elevation gain of over 3,500 meters.
The Flèche Ardennaise is the main event of the season for Belgian cyclists at the top of their game. Professional continental teams, national teams, regional teams and cycling clubs are welcome to join.
This race, which takes place in the province of Liège, is organised the Ardenne Flèche society The Flèche ardennaise is featured on Top Compétition, a calendar listing all Belgian races put together by the Belgian Royal Cycling League every year.
Practical information
There are four loops:
- 63 km (Falize, Lamoriville, Thier, Beaumont, Mont de Soie and Wanne hills)
- 39.94 km (Brume, Fosse and Wanne hills)
- 47.44 km (Haute Levée, Rosier, Côte de Xhierfomont, Gleize and Thier de Coo hills)
- 24.45 km (Amermont, Renardmont, Côte du Stockeu hills, the last one being the ardest with its 20% incline)
