The Puppet Centre of Tournai invites you to discover the art of puppetry in all its forms.
The Puppet Centre is a real centre dedicated to the research and promotion of the puppetry arts. Located in the heart of Tournai, in a former mansion, it has a collection of nearly 2500 puppets, contemporary and traditional, from around the world.
The centre implements numerous creative and promotional activities, such as supporting young creators through residencies, as well as the organization of two biennial festivals, internships and trainings.
Museum of Puppetry Arts
This museum reveals its incredible collection thanks to a permanent exhibition, renewed every year. The centre also offers you traveling and thematic exhibitions. Guided and animated tours of the exhibits plunge you further into this fascinating world.
New elements
The self-guided visit for families "Jack got the trunk!" : The puppet Jack is gone! Only traces of his fugue: the selfies he has hidden all over the halls of the museum.
