Spa is more well known for its mineral water and legendary Formula One circuit, but nothing quite prepares the visitor who arrives during the weekend of Francofolies, when some 170,000 Francophone music lovers descend on the town to hear the likes of the brilliant Stromae or the world’s favourite DJ, David Guetta. The next event will take place in 2021.
More than just a festival
The event also aims at being as ecological as possible: green energy shuttles to transport visitors from one stage to another, waste sorting, the "no flyer distribution" rules and the reusable cup encouragement.
The Francofolies wants everyone to have a fantastic time: a lot of work has been done to help visitors with reduced mobility or handicap have a chance to join the fun.
