The Dîme farm, in the medieval village of Montquintin, houses the Museum of Peasant Life and the school of yesteryear. Built in the 18th century, the building offers a unique architectural structure near Virton (province of Luxembourg).

The museum is currently closed for renovations.

In the heart of the rurality of yesteryear

This three-cell farm, listed as Major Heritage of Wallonia, is a perfectly preserved example of traditional Gaume rural architecture lining up under a single cover, a main building, a barn, a stable. The original materials, all local, testify to the tradition while the restoration and maintenance following ancient techniques are quite educational.

Inside, the reconstruction of a classroom from the beginning of the 20th century illustrates the school tradition in rural areas.
