The Musée de la Ville d'eaux, in Spa, invites you to discover Boîtes et coffrets de Spa et de Paris, an exhibition of antiques which evokes the spirit of the 19th century as well as a certain worldly, common art of living to Belgium and France.
Jolités and Spa Wood Collections
This exhibition is the result of a partnership between Vincent Boire, collector of French boxes from the Romantic era, and the Musée de la Ville d’eaux.
Organized in themes, this selection of objects provides information on the occupations of the 19th century bourgeoisie.
Open the doors of the workshops to meet the artisans who made these objects, those of the shops where they were sold and the interiors where they were exhibited.
