Les Fêtes de Wallonie — 3rd weekend of September
Created in 1923, these festivities celebrate the Walloon patriotism and spirit. For five days, the festival invades the town and more than 250,000 people gather there for it. Numerous bars set up on the pavements and the activities follow like concerts, folk dancing or even the famous stilt walkers’ fight.
