Located in the Cité Ardente, La Boverie invites you to discover Abstract, an exhibition questioning the meaning of abstract art through numerous works. The majority of them come from Liege's Museum of Fine Arts.
Does abstract art still make sense?
From Kandinsky to the most contemporary artists, the exhibition presents 150 works over 2000 m2. This reveals the importance of the collections of Liège's Museum of Fine Arts even if it is also enriched with major pieces from other horizons. Exclusive interviews with contemporary artists and actors from the artistic world allow you to grasp the importance and extreme liveliness of abstract art.
This form of language is far from having reached its limits and its expressions are infinite.
