La Louvière knows how to party! It’s all about fun, friendliness and fab events.
Carnival — End of March/beginning of April
At Lent, La Louvière wakes up to the sound of drums and of the marching clogs of its Gilles, its most famous carnival character. A 150-year-old tradition, the Laetaere Carnival stretches over three days. Expect much fun and smiles all around
A weekend along the water — the first weekend in July
The Canal du Centre hosts, every year, a weekend along the water, a festive, family-friendly celebration with a craft market, concerts, a cultural village and spectacular cruises.
