The Musée Royal de Mariemont and its park
At the heart of a sumptuous park, the museum highlights the rich collections gathered by its founder, Raoul Waroqué. Treasure from the most important civilisations – from antique Rome to ancient China, via Egypt and the Middle East – are weaved with local history: Hainaut, Belgium, from prehistoric times to the 20th century.
The Musée international du Carnaval et du Masque in Binche
This museum will immerse you in the history and traditions of the Binche Carnival. Fimed testimonies, archive documents, movies unseen before, pieces from old and recent collections, scents, items of costumes you can touch will wake up all your senses. Don’t miss the section dedicated to masks from around the world.
Visit of the Saint Feuillien brewery
Since 1873, the Friart family has been producing a range of beers – the Saint Feuillien or La Grisette for example. During the visit, you will discover the installations, the new brewing room added in 2013 and, of course, taste some of their creations.
