For 3 months, American artist Banks Violette occupied the premises to prepare an exhibition marking his comeback. A wide selection of works by this (former) enfant terrible of contemporary art can now be discovered at BPS22.
A contemporary art exhibition in Charleroi
From February to May, BPS22 invites you to discover the world of this New York artist through forty of his historical works. This includes monumental installations and pieces recently created with the famous fashion house Celine .
The works of Banks Violette, which occupy the entire Museum, can be interpreted as the dark and distressing expression of radical social criticism.
