The 9 municipalities of the southern Ardennes, namely Bertrix, Bièvre, Bouillon, Daverdisse, Gedinne, Herbeumont, Paliseul, Vresse-sur-Semois and Wellin have come together to create the nature park of the southern Ardennes.
In order to preserve and enhance this exceptional natural territory, this park now joins the 11 natural parks of Wallonia.
Different goals
The aim of the project is to set up several missions in order to:
- protect, manage and enhance this natural heritage
- develop the territory and preserve its landscapes
- develop the region from a rural and economic point of view.
