Walking in Waloon Picardy | Beloeil

This walk by the Château de Beloeil, between Mons and Tournai, offers a lovely mix of waterway, museums and countryside.

From the centre of Beloeil, the stroll takes you towards the Blathon-Ath canal, which, in the 19tth century linked the Dendred to the Pommeroeul-Antoing canal. This part of the itinerary offers lovely poetic landscapes.

In Huissignies, the Musée de la Vie Rurale is the perfect opportunity to discover farming life in the past centuries.

The path then goes through the countryside until it reaches Aubechies and its Archéosite.

Next is the Château de Beloeil. The alley leading to it passes superb French style gardens.
