Liège is Wallonia's first touristic destination. Its heart-warming cheerfulness, wonderful folklore and incredible cultural heritage are sure to put a spell on you. Come and experience for yourself! The Tourist Office organised guided tours to help you make the most of your visit.
Guided tour of the historical centre
This daily tour (in French) of the historical quarters of the city takes place every day between April 1st and October 31st. It's free, there is no need to book: just be at the Halle aux viandes (Quai de la Goffe 13) at 2 pm.
Themed guided tours
The Tourist Office organises themed guided tours of the city (in French) throughout the year: the royal opera of Wallonia, Saint-Jacques' church, Saint-Paul's cathedral, Charlemagne, the first world war, the citadel's foundations, Art Nouveau buildings, Simenon's Liège, the city's industrial story (mines, blast furnaces) ...
Group visits
There are plenty of themed guided tours (from a few hours to a full day) to choose from.
