In summer, the unmissable event for all the family to enjoy is the Bathtub Regatta. The sight of these unlikely constructions competing to get on the podium is simply surreal. The other ‘must’ of the Dinant summer is the rhythm and hot chords of jazz and the saxophone.
International Bathtub Regatta - 15 August
You can attend a rather quirky event in Dinant – an International Bathtub Regatta! The race is one-kilometre long and the different participants “paddle” along the River Meuse in their bathtubs decorated in unusual and original ways, while being encouraged and applauded by the public!
Les dimanches de Mr Sax — Every Sunday in July and August
In summer, Dinant can be explored with music in your ears! The frenetic rhythms of jazz and saxophones accompany you along the streets and squares of the Mosan town. It’s a unique way to discover the town of the famous inventor, where every Sunday a new group plays your favourite tunes!
Festival de l’été Mosan — July-August
Every year during summer, come and enjoy a series of outdoor concerts in the Meuse region. The classic line up blends harmoniously with the beauty of the architectural heritage which serves as a setting.
