Beer lovers, rejoice. Ormeignies' Royale Fanfare St Ursmer will be organising their famous oberbayern this year, a tradition started in 1962. Every first Saturday of October, the town takes on a festive atmosphere: beer tasting, music and a real feast await...
«Die Tyroler Kerl'n», a local tyrolean band (in proper outfit!) will add to the cheerfulness (SPOCULO concert hall, 9 pm). Bavarian folk music will be played all night, the public soon joining in, the first Prosit! shared... Add to this more bands on the Sunday.
There will be 15 local beers to try, along with choucroute and tartiflette.
