Every year, over 3 ,000 athletes from all over the world come and compete at the Openlakes Belgium, which takes place at the Eau d'Heure lakes.

In this quite unique settings, triathletes will move from swimming to cycling and running.

Openlakes

  • Friday: opening of the exhibitor village and swimming training
  • Saturday: the title of Belgian champion will be awarded in the Half distance competition
  • Sunday:
    - the traditional Olympic distance (DO)
    - events aimed at the youngest: Teens for 14-15 year olds, Kids for 10-13 year olds and Mini-Kids for 6-9 year olds
    - events accessible to disabled athletes
    - "My first triathlon experience",  a 200 m swimming, 15 km cycling and 3 km walking competition
