Set off for a 9 km walk to discover the Amblève, a secret river surrounded with enchanting landscapes.

At the start of the route, look out for the traces of an old gold panning operation. Now cross the Wolfsbuch, where the pines and beeches will protect from too much sunshine. Following up the course of the Amblève, you will then enjoy a breathtaking panorama of the region. This little-frequented walk is an opportunity to discover a lesser known side of the Belgian Ardennes.

Departure: Montenau 123 at 4770 Amblève
Distance: 9.1 km
Difficulty: medium
Marking: follow node points 21, 83, 84, 45, 46 and 21
