Housed in an old presbytery dating from the 17th century, the Musée du Pays d'Ourthe-Amblève, invites visitors on a fascinating journey in the history of man, from Prehistoric times to today.
The museum exhibits a remarkable collection from various excavations carried out on the regional prehistoric sites and covering the Palaeolithic, Neolithic periods and the Age of Metals.
Can be seen, among other treasures, impressive mammoth, Deninger bears and cave lions skeletons and bones as well as various stone tools made by man in Prehistoric times. Over 2000 objects used in the local folklore complete this rich archaeological collection.
The Museum also hosts temporary exhibitions, conferences and events for children and adults.
