- Camping car site
Tournai's camping car site and its 12 spaces for motorhomes is ideally located a few minutes from the town centre.
Ideally located
Location really is this motorhome area. Once parked, you can do everything on foot. This historic city has a lot to offer. Did you know that it was the first capital of... France?
In less than 5 minutes, you arrive at the lively Grand-Place, with its many terraces and water fountains emerging from the ground. If you feel up to it, climb the 257 steps of the Belfry. You will be rewarded with a panoramic view of Tournai.
Follow this by a stroll along the Escaut river. Freshly redeveloped, the docks invite you to relax by the Pont des Trous, dear to the Tournaisiens. With a little luck, you will be able to attend a sound and light show retracing the city's history before returning to your motorhome.

The oldest brewery in Wallonia
After exploring this ancient fortified town, go and visit a gem of the local gastronomy: the Brasserie Dubuisson, a 20 minutes drive from Tournai. Beer and campervan lovers, welcome! The brewery that produces the famous Bush and sells the Cuvée des Trolls has provided camper van spaces in its parking lot, from where you can see the hop fields.
Will you choose the classic farm-brewery tour, the interactive Beerstorium tour in the castle across the street? Or maybe both? The first will reveal anecdotes to better understand what happens in the brewing room, the bottling line and the fermentation hall, before descending into the maturing cellar. The second lets you relive the history of the brewery and its beers thanks to 3D, virtual reality and an escape game. A commented tasting of course concludes each visit.
