Departing from Érezée station, old-fashioned carriages take you on an unusual ride through hilly landscapes untouched by time. Running along the river, the Tramway touristique de l’Aisne (TTA) ofers a fantastic chance to see the flora and fauna typical of the Ardennes.

The TTA, which runs between Erezée and Lamormenil, is one of the oldest tourist railways. It operates a disused rural track, an authentic old Ardennes line.

An unusual journey

Over 11 km, the TTA drives through nature dazzling with beauty. Slowly, a tribute to a time when time hardly mattered... and now brought back to life, its line winding along the Aisne.

A trip to the Aisne valley

A project designed in 1885 and carried out between 1908 and 1912, the route of the local line was designed to link Melreux to Comblain-la-Tour. Today, the Aisne Tourist Tramway runs on part of this line, starting from Erezée station and stopping at Lamormenil.

There are 2 routes to choose from:

  • the first takes you to Forge à la Plez (round trip - 1 hour)
  • the second takes you to Lamormenil (round trip - 2 hours)

You can make a one-way trip and return to Érezée station on foot or by bike, on well marked trails. Or make the most of the RAVeL network which passes through Érezée to get to the T.T.A.
