Aside from brewing beer, the Brasserie Valduc-Thor in Thorembais-Saint-Trond, in the Walloon Brabant, also trains brewers.
By using ingredient grown on nearby fields, this microbrewery proves both traditional and ecological, a philosophy dear to the two master brewers, Peter and Antoine. They took over a brewery originally called Brasserie Maurice in Thorembais-Saint-Trond, and brought it back to life as a fully artisanal brewery under this new name, Valduc-Thor.
The beers are available as:
- White: La Petite Soeur
- Amber: Valduc RIO
The brewery also trains brewers, presents how brewing is made at weekends and organises bespoke brewing events on request. Their motto? The quest for authenticity. And so visits are done by the master brewer.
