Created between 1841 and 1843, the Theátre Royal is stunning neo classical building on the Grand Place de Mons, with arcades on street level.
The ceiling, painted as a trompe-l'œil by Alexandre Obolensky, features dusk, stretching toward a starry night. This incredible work stretches along 35 metres and follows visitors from the entrance hall to the bar.
The cultural centre has been renovated through years to improve its acoustics to the best level possible. It is PMRs friendly.
