Once you have tried the delicious Wépion strawberries, make sure to visit this museum, an absolute must see to better understand the local terroir.

Set in a former villa by the Meuse river, the Musée de la Fraise features five exhibition rooms dedicated to the local history of strawberry growing. Its boutique stores a wide range of regional products, all strawberry based: strawberry or apple-strawberry juice, jams, liquor, peket, honey harvested in the garden, fresh strawberries and other regional produces.

Choose from a solo or guided tour, the latter concluding on a tasting of strawberry based products.

Nearby is an orchard dedicated to fruit trees producing small sized delights, where you will get a chance to try seasonal crops.

We do our best to keep you informed. It's best, however, to check the latest news with the attraction you are visiting, or operator you have booked an activity with. Read our travel advice.
