The Benedictine Saint-Jacques abbey was founded in 1015. The actual church, built between 1514 and 1538 is a fantastic example of Gothic flamboyant architecture. Its XVIth century stained windows, 14th-century stalls, and rich furniture make it an exceptional gem - worth a detour if you're visiting the region near Liège.
