The Saint-Hubert basilica, listed as exceptional cultural heritage of Wallonia, is one of the most impressive in Europe. Don't miss the visit of the attic of the building, a fantastic opportunity to step off the beaten path and discover a lesser known part of the architecture.

The Saint-Hubert basilica

Famous centre of pilgrimage in honour of Saint Hubert, patron of huntsmen, the basilica seduces visitors by its grandeur and elegance. Its silhouette rises amongst the beautiful green setting of the Ardenne forests. Saint Hubert has been named the "European capital of Hunting and Nature".

This village saw many abbey churches, increasingly big, to welcome monastic life and passionate pilgrims. The basilic offers a stunning example of the evolution of architecture - Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance. The 18th century baroque facade is in contrast with its lean, gothic interior bathed in light and colours.
