L’album du diable. Les tentations de Félicien Rops exhibition in Namur

Based on a work belonging to the Royal Library of Belgium and an unpublished drawing loaned by the Marmottan Monet Museum (Paris), the exhibition L'Album du diable. Les Tentations de Félicien Rops details Ropsian themes:

• the cross, subject to many diversions...

(Re)discover works from private collections, Belgian and foreign museums, as well as drawings and engravings usually kept in the museum's archives. This retrospective of the (unrealized) project, L’Album du Diable, concretizes in a way the publication that he had planned several times in his correspondence.
