Located in Charleroi, the Musée d'Art de la province de Hainaut (BPS22) welcomes Hervé Charles for his new exhibition, Albebo: a selection of photographs reflecting the artist's personal vision of the evolution of the environment.
The Earth and Its Transformations
Since his earliest works in the early 1990s, Hervé Charles (1965, Nivelles) has focused his attention on the Earth's environment and its transformations. The photographer also remains sensitive to the challenges of image production.
Without being a retrospective, the exhibition places older works in perspective with the artist's latest creations. This highlights the consistency of his attentive gaze on the state of the Earth and the precision of his artistic formulations.
