Franchimont medieval fair takes place every two years, the third weekend of August and offers a real journey through time.
Franchimont castle, which overlooks the town of Theux, then comes alive with music, laughs and colours. The years 1514 to 1520 are carefully recreated: costumes, texts, scenery... Even the local currency of that era is brought back!
