Set in a superb 18th-century house, the Famenne & Art Museum is a place full of memories, emotions and respect. It is located in the historical centre of Marche-en-Famenne, in the province de Luxembourg.
A museum, two experiences
In the main 17th century building, discover the little-known work of artist Remy Van den Abeele.
Then, in the 18th century wing, a chronological journey featuring jewellery, lace, sculptures, furniture, photography... takes you through 7,000 years of history in Famenne. From prehistoric to modern times, the Famenne & Art Museum presents:
- the Francs
- the Famenne region
- the Master of Waha, a tribute to a timeless sculptor, representative of late Gothic sculpture
- modern Art
- 20th century craftsmanship...
