In Han-sur-Lesse, a stone's throw from Rochefort, visitors can explore an underground cave famous throughout the world and ranked 3 stars in the Michelin guide.
1.3 km of galleries
From the centre of the village, walk to the entrance of the cave, near the Trou de Han. A guide will lead you through the galleries where you can admire the many rooms and concretions, each more beautiful than the previous one:
- the Drapery Room
- the Trophée, a giant, 7 metres high stalagmite, 20 metres in circumference
- the Mystérieuses and their debauchery of multi-coloured concretions
- the Dome, 145 m high...
Halfway through, “Origin”, a sound and light show, highlights all the beauties of the fencing room. State-of-the-art video-mapping and laser technologies evoke the history of the caves.
Leaving the cave, stop at the restaurant-brasserie and choose from the menu giving pride of place to local products. Take place on the large terrace on the edge of the Lesse to enjoy it.
