Durbuy is famous for its adorable maze of paved streets suspended in time. But did you know it was also home to a Modern and Contemporary Art Museum? Nestled in the Halle aux Blés, a building listed as main heritage of Wallonia, at the heart of the old part of Durbuy, this museum features Marcel Lucas's work as well as temporary exhibitions promoting Belgian artists.

Marcel Lucas' work 

Thanks to its partnership with the Marcel Lucas Foundation, the Musée d’Art Moderne et Contemporain de Durbuy (MAMCD) presents in its permanent collection 80 paintings by the artist over 3 floors.

Temporary exhibitions

Twice a year, the museum features temporary exhibitions putting forward renowned Belgian artists as well as rising stars. Durbuy wishes to over a wide selection of art to its citizens, tourists and schools.
