- The most beautiful villages of Wallonia
- Guided tour and discovery
This village, typical of the Ardenne, is sure to capture your heart with its picturesque houses, made of the local stone and its nearby forest. Redu's sweet little streets, lined with bookshops (new, second hand, comic books, rare editions...) earned it the title of "capital of books" in 1984. No wonder that over 200,000 visitors visit it every year - Wallonia at its most enchanting!
A lively village with events along the year
Redu organises many festivities along the year, all inspired by books: themed fair, a night dedicated to bookshops, an event presenting the many skills used in bookmaking, flea markets, exhibitions...
- Book fair
- Book Trades Weekend
- The Night of books
Museums and terroir products
There are museums, print shops and workshops to discover throughout Redu. The ’Euro Space Center, in Transinne, only is a few kilometres away or MUDIA, dedicated to art and its evolution, and featuring over 300 works stretching from the Renaissance to contemporary times.
No visit in Wallonia would be complete without a good meal! Make sure to try one of the local restaurants for a delicious time. Some of the shops in town sell product terroirs, a fantastic opportunity to know more about the artisans.
Come and explore Redu, the village dedicated to books in the South of Belgian. An absolute must see in the Ardenne.
