- Exhibition
To mark its bicentenary, Val Saint-Lambert celebrates two centuries of creation, expertise, and international renown with an exceptional temporary exhibition punctuated by two immersive shows by Luc Petit.
Between Heritage and Contemporary Creation
The Val Saint-Lambert exhibition showcases iconic antique pieces from the great designers who have shaped the crystalworks' reputation since the 19th century. The exhibition also retraces the major milestones in the site's industrial, artistic, and human history. It reveals the innovations, challenges, and the men and women who have contributed to building this extraordinary adventure.
This bicentenary is distinguished by a modern and original approach, embodied by an exclusive collaboration with the non-profit organization Spray Can Arts. This partnership has resulted in original contemporary pieces, specially created for the occasion.
Reopened for this occasion, the contemporary exhibition complements this experience by explaining the origins of glassmaking as well as the history of Val Saint-Lambert. Lights, materials, sounds, and images immerse you in the heart of crystal, from its creation to its artistic expression.
Two immersive experiences by Luc Petit
As part of the Val Saint-Lambert bicentenary celebrations, Luc Petit and his team have designed two unique and immersive experiences:
- From April 11 to June 21, Cristal Memoria immerses you in the heart of Val Saint-Lambert crystal's history
- In autumn 2026, Val Saint-Lambert Abbey will host Lumina Crystallis, a live performance featuring artists on stage (musicians, dancers, acrobats, etc.)
These two spectacular events complement the bicentenary exhibition, which explores the dialogue between Val Saint-Lambert's past and its contemporary creativity.
