  • Festival

This festival is a vibrant reminder that thousands suffer cruelly from hunger around the world. Throughout Wallonia, October 9-25th, 2018.

Most are peasants. The paradox? This is often the result of political choices on which, as citizens, we could have an influence. Shouldn't we ask for a system that can feed us but also cares for our wellbeing and environment?

There are, indeed, alternatives. This is what the AlimenTerre festival hopes to inspire on World Food Day.

Why a festival?

Documentaries can alert the public, make them aware of what is happening around them, help them understand the consequences of decisions linked to agriculture.

SOS Faim also wanted to support engaged feature movies and encourage a meaningful artistic initiative.

AlimenTerre is the only movie festival focusing on peasants and asking crucial agricultural questions.
