The regional stage centre of Walloon Brabant, Le Vilar present over 25 shows each season. This creative theatre aims above all to be a cultural site accessible to as many people as possible.
A cultural opening in Walloon Brabant
Located in the heart of the university city, Le Vilar theatre features:
- a 385-seat theatre offering a perfect view of the stage
- a spacious and welcoming bar that can host meetings, readings and concerts and is perfect for sharing moments of life
- privileged access for people with reduced mobility and facilities for the hearing impaired
The shows are also presented in 2 other venues in Louvain-la-Neuve: the Blocry theatre (116 seats) and Aula Magna (1050 seats).

Each season, Le Vilar theatre programs:
- contemporary and classical creations
- youth and family theatre
- a show on tour throughout Walloon Brabant
- dance, and in particular major ballets
- circus...
Since its creation, Le Vilar has programmed over 700 shows and has had the pleasure of welcoming 60,000 spectators each year.
