Musée Marthe Donas (MIMDo) is the only museum in the Walloon Brabant focusing on Belgian modern art. Its collection features over 70 artists, 30 being women.
The permanent collection
This collection revolves around 4 axie:
- Marthe Donas: 50 paintings, drawings and engravings covering this artist's carreer
- Guillaume Vanden Borre: 70 pieces from Les Amis de Guillaume Vanden Borre et de Jacques Lacomblez Association
- Pierre Caille: 40 pieces (paintings, engravings, drawings, sculptures...) illustrating how much this creator designed
- Marie Carlier: over a hundred paintings and artworks on paper given by La Chambre des Imagiers Association
Temporary exhibition
Several times a year, MIMDo organises temporary exhibitions in the chapel and the Maison Bauthier where Marthe Donas occasionally lived between 1922 and 1927.
