- Trade fair
The Libramont Agriculture, Forestry and Agrifood Fair is the biggest annual open-air event of its kind in Europe. Mark the date: it takes place every year on the last weekend of July.
It takes place at the Libramont Exhibition & Congress where 700 exhibitors will gather.
Showcasing the agricultural world
The Libramont fair aims at highlighting the many aspects of the rural world: machinery, breeding, forest, agri-food... This event, created in 1926, celebrates the Belgian draught horse, which golden age was between the late 19th century and 1940.
The fair attracts every year close to 200,000 visitors, 800 exhibitors and brands over a 300,000 m² site. Although the Ardennes draught horse has gradually dwindled in number, competitions (with no less than 200 horses) are still held yearly, attracting large crowds to the Belgian province of Luxembourg.
A family event
Children can enjoy a play area (including a toddler one), fun activities, parades, exhibitions presenting animals, horse shows and a petting area. A family trail will introduce the little ones to the farm world and forest management.
