Located in Bastogne, Le Picontue - Musée de la Grande Ardenne reveals the magic of the Ardenne traditions and culture, from the ethnographic heritage to religious craft.
A journey through time
The first part of the museum focuses on the Ardenne in the 19th and 20th century. Visitors will have the opportunity to see what school, christenings, weddings were like.
Fascinating legends
La Maison des légendes, nestled in a wing of the Musée en Piconrue, takes you on a trail, presenting characters from famous legends: the wild hunter, the four Aymon sons, the devil, the werewolf, little elves called nutons and other magical creatures.
Temporary exhibitions
A few times a year, the museum sets up exhibitions focusing on life in the Ardenne and Luxembourg. Aimed at being family-friendly, they offer a fantastic opportunity for different generations to share their memories.
