Try the local cuisine: amazing dishes meant to restore you after the Carnival festivities and sweet treats to melt any foodie's heart.

Eûrèye

This dish, made from vegetables, potatoes, smoked lardons and sausages, used to be enjoyed a long time ago by the monks of the abbey... It was brought up to date more recently and has become a real traditional dish during carnival time. Quite invigorating!

Tomme de Stavelot

This semi-hard cheese, prepared from raw organic cow’s milk, is washed with a local Juniper spirit called Peket. Its sweet and creamy taste is just perfect to conclude a meal.

Beignets de Stavelot

These desserts are small balls of dough fried with almonds then served with a dusting of sugar. Irresistible.
