The Folon Foundation welcomes Italian painter and watercolorist Nicola Magrin for his first exhibition in Belgium. A poetic universe close to Jean-Michel Folon to be discovered in Walloon Brabant.

Nicola Magrin at the Folon Foundation

Inspired by both Jean-Michel Folon and Hugo Pratt, Italian painter Nicola Magrin unleashes watercolors and makes them resonate with the elements.

Born in 1978, trained in painting at the Brera Academy (Milan), and a great traveler, the artist is known for illustrating Italian versions of great texts of world literature. His art is inspired by his fascination with the Far North but also with Japan.

The "Del cielo e della terra" exhibition invites you to enter the beauty of the world. This collaboration between the Folon Foundation and the Nuages Gallery (Milan) is the first in Belgium to highlight this contemporary artist.
