Automobile design and history near Mons
Autofiction is a subjective biography of the automobile, this object that participates more than ever in the creation of artificial, systemic, massive, all-encompassing environments. The exhibition bears witness to the ongoing controversies among designers and creators through 3 complementary biographical axes:
- a first part devoted to the automobile as a smart electronic device on 4 wheels
- the staging of a brief biography of the automobile which opens onto the broader one of energy strategies today
- new narrative avenues for the automobile that invite us to discover what a technical democracy could be, thus reconnecting with the notion of the automobile as a popular object
