In July, the Peruwelzian population celebrates Sainte-Anne, the patron saint of thread and needle artisans. For the occasion, the town comes alive with free events and concerts.
Concerts and events in Peruwelz
For the occasion, the non-profit organization Le Rond’Eau des Sources organises an unforgettable festive day to celebrate Sainte-Anne. The city center is exclusively reserved for pedestrians, from rue Albert Ier to the Grand’Place.
On the program:
- open-air clothes swap, a nod to Sainte-Anne, patron saint of thread and needle actors and actresses
- entertainment for children from 2 to 5 p.m.
- free concerts from 6 p.m.
- fireworks combined with a laser show around midnight
- 3 bars run by local sports clubs
