Mary of Hungary: From Mariemont to the Heart of the 16th Century
From November 22, 2025, to May 10, 2026, the Royal Estate & Museum of Mariemont invites you to discover its new temporary exhibition: "Mary of Hungary. Art & Power in the Renaissance", which highlights the political, diplomatic, and artistic role of a central figure of the 16th century: Mary of Hungary, sister of Charles V and ruler of the Netherlands.
The historical works and multisensory installations—combining 3D models, music, images, animation, dance, and video—trace one of the most important historical outcomes of the Renaissance.
