Ancient weapons are found on all small and big screens, from Conan to Excalibur, Game of Thrones to Outlander, Kaamelott to the Chronicles of Narnia, even in video games. Epic frescoes, extraordinary battles, chivalrous quests, the stories always feature the most legendary weapons and armor. But where do these objects navigating between reality and imagination come from? What if fantastic weapons had their roots in our history?

This exhibition invites you to take a closer look at filming decors, cosplay creations and discover the historical objects that inspired them.
