The exhibition David Hockney: The Song of the Earth focuses on Mahler's 9th Symphony, composed in 1907-1908, which depicts nature as an essential element of life and an infinite source of inspiration.

Along with the figure of David Hockney, visitors wll discover works by major artists such as Vincent van Gogh (1853-1890) and Edvard Munch (1863-1944), along a selection of paintings by Symbolist painters that perfectly resonate with the themes explored in the symphony.
