Le Safran de Patr’Ann is a safranière, a saffron farm. Come to Profondeville in the province of Namur to meet the owners and take a guided tour.
This farm grows Crocus Sativus, used to make the fragrant spice known as red gold.
The saffron is also used to flavour a range of products - mustard, salt flower, jellies... - which you can buy in the shop on site.
Visit the farm
The owners can organise a tour of the farm thus sharing their passion with you, explaining how the plants are grown, harvested and trimmed. The visit finishes at the shop, to discover the full range of products made from the plant.
