Grand Raid Godefroy, a renowned mountain bike race, takes place every year at the beginning of September in Bouillon.
The non-profit organization Bouillon Semois Events pulls out all the stops to bring this event to life, which was in the past a reference in terms of mountain biking organization in Belgium and Europe.
Four competitions
With Grand Raid Godefroy, discover the full beauty of a magnificent region by following the meanders of the Semois along its banks or from the top of the wooded hills that surround it.
Four competitions are offered:
- GRG by night: a nighttime mountain bike trail between rolling paths on the heights of the region and technical trails along the Semois
- GRG Enduro: a demanding 35 km loop and over 1,200 m of elevation gain to test your physical endurance
- GRG Marathon: 5 routes, including an e-bike on, stretching from 50 to 120 km for all levels with group departures from 8 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. depending on the distance chosen
- GRG Gravel: 2 routes through the Semois Valley National Park.
