A Belgian artist born in Tournai, Laurence Dervaux presents an exhibition combining classic and new works and including a large immersive installation specially designed for the Dupont room at BPS22.
Laurence Dervaux's work is centered on the human body whose complex beauty she seeks to formalize as much as its fragility. This is suggested, diverted through a register of signs and forms. Vital fluids, organs or skeletons are transposed into vast fascinating devices.
