This folkloric event in the Entre Sambre-et-Meuse region gathers a considerable crowd every year. Why not come along and join the fun?
Each group joining the carnival procession prepares their costumes and floats in the greatest secret during the winter. The more colourful and creative, the better! The result always is heart-warming and mind wowing. It proves as much an occasion to celebrate spring than to bring all generations together.
A new procession every year
Every year, in the greatest secrecy, the groups create new floats and new costumes based on a theme inspired by a profession, a sport, a country, a tale, a film, of a historical comic book character...
The event takes place the 3rd Sunday before Easter.
